Welcome to the Toro page!

This is my little tribute to one of my favorite bits of Sony/Playstation History.

All my original words, this page is more than a copied wiki!

"Doko Demo Issyo" 1999-2001

"Doko Demo Issyo" (Translates to "Together Everywhere" in English) is a Japanese exclusive PS1 / PSX game (Released in 1999) where you have to teach animal charecters, also known as "Pokepi" or "Pocket People" words to memorize through a variety of Minigames and Virtual Pet mechanics. Because of how based the game's system is in Japanese, Toro and his pals were never offically introduced to any other region until the game "Toro, Let's Party!"

Because of the game's comercial sucess, two add-on discs were released. The first add-on "Koneko Mo Issho" (Translates to "Together With a / My Kitten" in English),released in 2000, is aimed at a younger audience and is a prequel to "Doko Demo Issyo" where Toro is a kitten. This add-on is practically the same as "Doko Demo Issyo", but the Japanese is a lot simpler, and you can only play as Toro.

Another add-on disc was released a year later in 2001, called "I Modo Mo Issho" (Roughly translates to "I Mode Together" in English). It includes new content and music, and most notably, was able to be connected to I Mode phones through an adapter. This connectivity allowed players to communitcate with eachother and the Pokepi. This service went down only a year later in 2002, but all the offline content is still playable.
